Hi Everyone,

Today, I am sharing my thoughts on Z-dough‘s Handmade scented Play dough ! I was sent items from Z-Dough in exchange for an honest review, please read my Disclaimer page for further information. As always, all opinions are my own.

I got to be honest here, I hated Play-Dough, I mean its messy, it gets everywhere and your kids always try to eat it! After a bad experience with Play dough, I vowed to never buy Play Dough for Jayden again. A vow I never broke, until now. Lately, I have been feeling so annoyed of electronics such as TV, Ipads, and Video Games. Jayden doesn’t use his creative artist in him while he uses these items and he just looks like a zombie. It’s quite scary actually.

Recently, I have been connecting with brands that allow children to use their imagination, creativeness and the little artist in them. I’ve stumbled across Z-Dough while I was doing my nightly Instagram scrolling and have admired Kira, the owner, and her Z-Dough from a far for quite some time now.

When we connected, I explained to her that I was looking for products that were child friendly. She sent me some of her amazing Z-Dough and we’ve been hooked ever since. We even made a minion out of our Z-dough! It was so much fun 😀

First off, let me just start by asking, how adorable are these custom imprints with Jayden’s name ?! Seriously so cute!

What are they made of.

Z-Dough is made from all food-grade ingredients: flour, water, salt, cream of tartar, oil, food coloring, essential oils, baking flavors, and spices. This means that if a bit sneaks its way into your little one’s mouth you won’t have to call 911 😛 That being said, Kira does not recommended eating it. It smells yummy  but is not for eating.

Whats the recommended age range.

Z-Dough is a great product for the young (18 months) to the young at heart (100+!) As with all toys, adult supervision is a must !

Quality.

Unlike the leading competitor, Z-dough does not dry out quickly but if it does feel a dry simply lay a damp cloth over the dough and knead it until smooth again. Each Z-Dough variety is available in a sleek metal tin with a clear window lid and will last for months when properly stored.

Price.

A single container costs about $7 USD or $9.60 CAD ! Or you can save on a bundle and get 6 for $32 CAD which is a steal! If your thinking “YIKES” just think about the time it takes to make one individual container of Z-Dough goodness and you know where your money is going. Into a hustling mama providing for her family.

Your son looks really happy playing with it and the little minion pic looks great!! Would love to win this for my daughter. Will pick the caramel apple or lemon one if we win? Thanks to you for always hosting these amazing giveaways ??

Oh my goodness what a great giveaway! I’ve been drooling over these for some time and I need to get some for my 2 year old. We too struggle with finding creative activities and “unplugging”. My concern has been that my little likes to eat everything he plays with so I have to watch him carefully with what we do…crayons, markers, chalk, Sand, etc. lol !! This would be perfect! And since we are working on colors -he can now name them how great is this? Plus endless possibilities of play time and creation. We would love to try the strawberry, blueberry and lemon. All the colors are so vibrant and I love how you can personalize. Thanks for the chance! I love your giveaways mama. Crossing fingers for a win.

These look so intriguing and awesome it’s way safer for our little ones! All the scents sound amazing but the eucalyptus, lavender and peppermint would be so enjoyable, calming and therapeutic for my wild boys! They love playdoh but the scent is just not appealing at all!

I have wanted to try this dough for a while. I adore the sweet little tins they come in! And the imprints. I couldn’t pick just one sent though!! The strawberry sounds amazing though!!!

I have wanted to get my daughter some for a while now too! We will have to get purple because that’s my daughter’s favorite color! Fingers crossed! ? This is my very first blog comment, ever! lol (@heartwarriormama)

  6. What an adorable minion! I have been following Z Dough for a little while now, and my little one is almost old enough to try play dough! I love that this is so much safer, and supporting small businesses! I think I’d have to say the caramel apple sounds delicious!! (IG @hairdi87)

  7. I am wary of play dough, but my 2 year old loves it. I’d much rather try a handmade product, if it’s worth the investment. I love that the child’s name is stamped in the top. I’d like to get blue berry for my little sweetie. (I.G. @peacheseveryday)

  8. These look so fun… Have always loved wintergreen, but the caramel apple sounds fun too! 🙂 thanks for the chance to win.

I think these are amazing! I was explaining it to my 2 and 3 year old Irish twins and my 3 year old says she wants rose, because flowers are her favorite and my 2 year old says sawbewwy (strawberry) what an amazing product, would love to try it out!

  11. I think lavender would be nice and soothing for some quiet play time
