I’ll admit, being a mom to two little boys I tend to get lost in all the casual, comfy, boyfriend looks that are offered to us ladies nowadays [I mean who else loves matching with their littles?]. Now, I’m not saying there’s anything wrong with that, trust me, If I could wear an oversized sweater,with leggings , and combat boots everyday, I would. BUT, every once in a while I like to undo the mom bun and get a little girly. I decided to be more adventurous this time around so I picked two staple “mom” pieces and a gorgeous wrap dress in pink, white and purple (insert shocked emoticon)! As always, I styled these items to my own personal preference. There are definetely more was to dress up (or down) these pieces! I encourage you mamas to step out of your comfort zone this new year !
The first piece I selected was this super comfy Tribal Poncho. It is currently on sale at www.shoppinkblush.com !!! I paired the poncho with a pair of leggings, steve madden boots and of course my favourite hat from H&M.

I’ve secretly been eyeing tunics from afar I mean, honestly I think those things are made for very tall, very lean/skinny blessed humans [which sadly, I am neither].. but I decided to take a risk and get one for myself. This lovely Tunic is also on sale over at Shop Pink Blush which for the record can be worn pre and post-pardum 😉 I might just get pregnant on purpose this time. HA! totally kidding!
Last but not least, I took personally think I took a huge risk deciding on this pastel wrap dress, which is no longer available on there site, however they do offer variations of this specific dress www.shoppinkblush.com 🙂 It’s definitely not a usual item I’d pick up from my local clothing vendor but it did inspire my New Years dress which you will see tomorrow!!
