Kicking Off The School Year With Geox & Win A Pair Too!

Hello Loves,

Who else is in dismay that summer is coming to an end?! It even started raining today ! This year we are kicking off the school year by making sure that Jayden has a reliable & stylish pair of GEOX Shoes.

The fact that Jayden wears a size 4 junior and that I can fit a size 5.5 junior is mind boggling. Where has my little baby gone?  Why does he have to grow up so fast? WAH..I’m feeling  bit sorry for myself, if you couldn’t tell.

This school year, I wanted to stray away from purchasing shoes that would get ruined quickly and actually invest in a pair that are comfy and will last a few months (at least until 2017).

Here is are some things to keep in mind when purchasing Back To School Shoes for your children:

1.Size Up

Let’s face it, kids are bound to grow and around  9 to 12 they sprout quickly. Purchasing a size up or even half a size up can save you some cash and stress in the long run.

2. Season

When buying shoes, make sure you keep the 4 seasons in mind for obvious reasons. These boy shoes from GEOX are the perfect pair for Fall !

3. Durability 

Just like reason above, making sure you have shoes that can with stand your child’s play habits are an obvious reason ;).

4. Age Appropriate

I know how cute those lace up Converse are, but have you ever tried to put them on in the morning when you’re trying to rush to work and school? Kids around Jayden’s age can totally tie their own pair of shoes and definitely  capable of getting themselves ready. But a busy toddler like Abel who doesn’t even know that shoes are mandatory to walk outside then ya, it might  be a struggle.

    I’ve never heard of these before but they’re adorable! The shoes that I’d get are probably the Baby Ian style (but I may change my mind again haha). I love all of your shoe buying tips, too. I always buy a size up for room to grow, too.

    Those look like awesome shoes! I personally hate shoes. I don’t like to buy the girls tons of different kinds but they get them as gifts from people and they end up with like 5+ pairs or more each! Would be so nice to have one pair that works for everything!
