For quite some time I’ve been thinking about changing my blog name from “Raising Jay & Abel” to something more fitting. After having Isaiah people would always joke around and say “Isn’t ‘Raising Jay, Abel & Isaiah’ a bit too long?
Well..ya, it would be! Hence, the rebrand!

Celebrating 3 years of Blogging
Believe it or not, my 3rd-year “blog anniversary” happened on April 1, 2018. I kept it hush-hush since I was busy working behind the scenes and getting ready to launch my new site.
So CHEERs to me for reaching three years of blogging.
I’ve learned a lot, shared a bunch but I’m most proud of staying true to me. I’ve always been loud and in your face. Take it or leave it kind of personality.
Perhaps that’s what makes me so intriguing? Who knows?

My Rebrand | 3 years of blogging
I started my blogging journey as “Raising Jay & Abel” and will always be thankful for the opportunities that blogging under that name has brought me.
However, like all good things, the name “Raising Jay & Abel” has to come to an end.
Not only because I had Isaiah, but because I wanted to branch out and start blogging under my own name.
I’ve seen many other bloggers grow out of the cute whimsical names and rebrand to their own names. Personally, I feel that I’ve outgrown Raising Jay & Abel in every way possible and that “Heydy Lopez” was the best way to go.

Because without your continued support, I probably would have given up years ago.
